LAST NOTE

Well hey there everybody, that’s right we’ve finally made it through to May and boy has the weather really come around with some warmer temps and wonderful sunshine!  As the weather gets better so does the music of LastNote and opportunities they have to play live. This week will once again be no exception!!

First up this Wednesday is the familiar stomping grounds of The Victor Village Inn.  You got it… It’s the beginning of the month and that means the boys are back at it right at home base ready to relax, let their hair down and get busy on some funky grooves and tasty guitar licks.  So come on out this Wednesday the 1st of May and kick off the un-official countdown to summer with LastNote and some great people!! As always boys and girls the guys will start playing around 9:30 and go till they lock the place up!!

So yes, in reference to the title of this post.  This Friday May 3rd LastNote will be lending it’s musical talents alongside a few of Rochesters other local talents to celebrate the Grand Opening of Tumbleweed Ink this Friday at The Firehouse Saloon from 6pm-2am.  Set times have not been designated yet so plan to come on down and hang out, not to mention support some of Rochesters finest artistic talent!! First up is this Wednesday the 24th at The Cottage Hotel in Mendon.  Having built quite the loyal following out in Mendon the last few months, these Cottage shows are ALWAYS a barn-burner!!  And this week is no exception to the rule.  Those who are familiar with these gigs know how it goes and those of you who aren’t should come on down to the Cottage this Wednesday around 9:30 and see what the fuss is all about.  With great music as well as a super friendly and courteous staff Wednesdays at The Cottage are where it’s at!! So come on down and get down with the LastNote Family this Weds at The Cottage!!

Can’t make it out Wednesday? No worries! The guys are playing this Friday the 26th of April at The Village Rock Cafe in East Rochester.  Every time LastNote has shown up on the doorsteps of The Village Rock it’s been an absolute party!!! This weekend will be no different, we here at LastNoteBand.com can promise you that!!   Rumor has it that some old friends of Nicks are going to make the trip down to East Rochester from waaaay up North… So the only proper thing to do is fill The Village Rock to capacity and show these folks some good ol’ LastNote hospitality!! First up this week is LastNotes’ regular Wednesday nite romp at The Cottage Hotel in Mendon.  That’s right this Wednesday the 27th of March the guys will be returning to the Cottage for a great night of music and friends.  Being a favorite spot to play and a home away from home for the boys these Wednesdays at the Cottage are a musical treat. With a super relaxed atmosphere and an awesome staff and great drink specials, the Vibe is really pumping at these shows.  So come on down to The Cottage Hotel this Wednesday around 9:30 and help push the week over the “hump” and lets set sail for the weekend!!!

Ah yes, this weekend. Well it’s been a little while since the guys  have last been at The Village Rock Cafe however the LastNote train will be burning into East Rochester once again this weekend to wake up that sleepy little village and get the Village Rock ‘a rockin’ with some good ol’ LastNote vibes!!! As always guys the show will start around 9:30 and the guys will play until they shut the power off on ‘em.  So make your plans for this Friday the 29th of March to include heading out to East Rochester and catching LastNote at The Village Rock Cafe!! Well hey there folks, hope the start of your week is carrying on in grand fashion.  We here at LastNoteBand.com are getting ready for a big week of some great music and good friends…

Well let’s get right to it, shall we… LastNote has a couple of gigs this week starting with this Wednesday March 13th at the Victor Village Inn.  For those of you familiar with these Wednesday nite shows you know the boys are set to have a rockin’ good time on their home turf!! For those of you who don’t… Come on down and see what the fuss is all about!!! As always the show will get rolling around 9:00-9:30 and the guys will play till about 1. So help yourselves get over the mid-week blues and start the count-down to St. Patrick’s Day!!!

Ah yes.  St. Paddy’s Day… Well, this Saturday March 16th seems to be the popular choice for this years celebration of St. Patrick’s Day and going against their normal character, LastNote seems to be following the pack on this one.  The guys will be burning down the house this weekend for The Landing’s St. Patrick’s Day bash this Saturday night smack dab in the middle of the village of Fairport.  Located beneath Main St. just past the canal, The Landing is an awesome destination for great food and awesome music… This being one of the favorite places LastNote loves to cut loose, as well as it being the birthday of a certain  LastNote Family member Mikey Massar aaand it’s St. Paddy’s day weekend only means that this party is guaranteed to get seriously rowdy!!! So come on down to The Landing in Fairport this Saturday around 9:30 and your bound to see the building bumpin’ of it’s foundation… come on in and share in a night of amazing music with Grateful friends, and let’s make this St. Patrick’s day one for the ages!!!!

Hello everyone!! Yet another week passes us by and it presents us with a few more opportunities to see LastNote live!!

As mentioned last week. This Saturday March 2nd, LastNote will be warming up the main stage at Water Street Music Hall for national act Cowboy Mouth.  Also as promised we have some info on presale tix that are available, if you can get ahold of Nick or Kevin either via LastNoteBand.com or hit the guys up on Facebook.  The particulars of the tix are as follows, if you can get them ahead of time they will be $20 otherwise tickets are available at the door for $25. So save yourself $5 and get in touch with the guys to see LastNote rip up Water Street Music Hall. This is an absolute favorite venue of LastNote and everytime they have an opportunity to showcase their talents in this venue they definitely shine brightly!! So we hope to see you this Saturday at Water Street!!!

However, before we get there.  There is a few shows this week that the boys will be playing to lead themselves up to this Saturday.  First up this week, LastNote returns to The Cottage Hotel of Mendon to continue their Wednesday tradition of blowing this place up with good times, great music and amazing people!! As always boys and girls the show will start around 9:30 and LastNote will play till they shut the bar down… So come out this Wednesday and get over the mid-week blues with some LastNote and great friends!!

Hey everyone, hope everybody’s week is going well.  Here’s the latest from the world of LastNote…

Well folks, as was mentioned in last weeks post right here at LastNoteBand.com, LastNote will be opening the main stage at Water Street Music hall on Saturday, March 2nd for National recording artists Cowboy Mouth.  Originating from New Orleans, LA, Cowboy Mouth has been recording and steadily touring since the early ’90′s.  A great group of well respected and superbly talented musicians whom LastNote looks forward to warming up the Water Street stage for.  Tickets are available at Ticketmaster as well as at the door. Stay tuned to LastNoteBand.com for more info on price and availability of presale tix. None the less, save the date and come on out and support LastNote and get to know Cowboy Mouth, we hope you can all make it out March 2nd!!

Before we get there however, LastNote will be returning to The Cottage Hotel in Mendon this Wednesday the 20th.  Starting at 9:30 as usual, the guys cant wait to fire up The Cottage once again.  Always a favorite venue of LastNote, The Cottage has great food and drink specials as well as the best staff around!! So come on out this Wednesday and get over the Hump Day woes by dancing the night away with LastNote!! We hope to see you all there!!

Ah yes, Old Man Winter continues impress his cold will upon us all.  Yet still,  LastNote continues to press on down the road where the climate suits their clothes…

But before the Boys head out, they’ll be playing the Victor Village Inn this Wednesday,  the night before Valentines day.  So grab your Valentine  and surprise them  with a night of good times and great tunes by LastNote!!   Show starts at 9:30 and goes till till 1, so come on out and share some LOVE!! Well guys, we hope that your weekend went smashingly and thank everyone who made it out this weekend to the Reunion Inn and The Village Rock Cafe.  Both shows where awesome turnouts and a great time was had by both LastNote and the folks who came together to share in it… Unfortunately the good news does come with a grain of salt. For those of you who don’t know, our dear friend and LastNote Family member Matt Mantione who has been playing the hand drums for the past few months has played his final show with LastNote.  Due to pressing personal matters Matt has stepped down from the band.  He will be dearly missed and will forever be a part of the LastNote Family, and will also be welcomed back with open arms at anytime the opportunity should arise.  We Love ya Matt, and wish you nothing but Love, Light and Happiness!!!

The new faces in LastNote…

If you guys haven’t been out to see the band perform live in a while you might be a little surprised to see the difference in the line-up… Firstly, for the last month or so a man named Jim Gondoli has been playing one hell of a lead guitar for LastNote and having a great time doing it we might add.  Jim is a VERY accomplished player with over 30yrs of playing experience under his belt.  As well as being a superb player, Jim also owns The Landing in Fairport.  So if you guys are ever on the East side of town wandering through Fairport, stop into the Landing and give Jim a big hello.  As well as Jim Gondoli, the fellas acquired a keyboard player by the name of Chris Ott.   Another gentleman with loads of experience under his belt, Chris brings an amazing “wall” of sound to drape over LastNote as they play for you all every weekend.  We here at LastNoteBand.com can tell you that with the addition of these two guys to the band, LastNote has never sounded better!!  With amazing depth and range, these two fellas are very welcomed additions to the LastNote Family!!! So if you haven’t seen the band play out in a while make it a point to do so!!! The Beast is constantly evolving, growing and gaining steam as we head towards the spring as well as the release of “Highways”….

Ah yes. The Album….

Well, after having a conversation with one of the reps at TMG last week.  A member of the LastNote family has independently told us that the debut release “Highways” is slated for release the first week of March.  Having spoken with Nick Leduc, this is pretty much official.  Nick was looking over photo proofs last week and sending his choices back to the Label.  It truly is in the home stretch!!!!  Just a little bit longer guys and you will be able to pick up your very own copy!!!

As far as shows this week guys, the band is playing out just once this week as of now… This Wednesday Jan 30th LastNote will be returning to The Cottage Hotel in Mendon.  A favorite of LastNote and the fans alike, the Cottage is always a rippin’ good time with friends and great music.  As usual the show will start around 9:30 and go until they close the joint up, so come on out this Wednesday and kick it with the new LastNote lineup and come see what you’ve been missing!!! We hope to see you there!!!
